Are you licensed and insured to operate drones in the UK?
Yes, we hold the necessary Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) permissions and licences. Additionally, we have comprehensive insurance for all drone operations covering public liability up to £10 million.
How safe are drone operations?
Safety is our top priority and our pilots are highly trained and follow strict safety protocols. This includes conducting thorough pre-flight checks and advising clients of how they contribute to ensuring safe operation.
What features do your drones have?
Company drones vary between ultra-lightweight and highly nimble to heavy with sophisticated high-resolution telephoto lenses. A suitable drone is selected for the task in hand.

Can a service be provided outside the UK?
This is open to discussion on a case-by-case basis – our pilots have successfully flown drones in several European countries and abide by local and national regulations.
What is your pricing structure?

Can conventional photography be offered?
Yes, ground-based photography can be performed in addition to or instead of drone-based photography. There are decades of experience in conventional photography within the company.
How long does a typical drone shoot take?
The duration depends on the scope of the project and a shoot can range from an hour to a full day on-site. An estimated timeline will be provided during the planning phase.
How are deliverables provided?
Your main choices are access to a cloud service for download, or a USB stick delivered to you personally for more sensitive projects. Other means are possible by arrangement. All data is encrypted, with the password communicated in a pre-agreed manner.
What information do you store and how is it securely handled?
SkySight keeps video, photos or presentations for up to 30 days by default, after which all recordings will be deleted. We adhere to strict data handling protocols to ensure all data are securely stored and only used for your project.
Do you provide post production editing?
